USGS Water Quality Workshop (A Review of Everglades Water-Quality Investigations)

The U.S. Geological Survey’s Toxic Substances Hydrology Program helped the South Florida Ecosystem Program host a workshop on the water quality of the Florida Everglades. The workshop was held in West Palm Beach, Florida, on October 23-24, 2000. The objectives of the workshop were to present current research on the fate and effects of contaminants, such as methylmercury, in South Florida Ecosystems and to receive comments from stakeholders on future research directions and needs.
