Pharmaceuticals, EDCs, and Other Organic Wastewater Contaminants in Water Resources of the U.S.

U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) scientist Dana W. Kolpin was the keynote speaker at Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation’s (CSIRO) symposium on Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals (EDCs), Pharmaceuticals and Personal Care Products (PPCPs) - Ecological Considerations in the Australasian Environment, CSIRO Discovery Centre, Black Mountain, Canberra, Australia, September 20, 2004. Mr. Kolpin spoke on Pharmaceuticals, EDCs, and Other Organic Wastewater Contaminants in Water Resources of the U.S. The symposium was jointly organized by CSIRO Land and Water, Land & Water Australia and The Australasian Society of Ecotoxicology (Special Interest Group on EDCs).
