Environmental Chemistry of Pharmaceuticals and Personal Care Products - Virtual Symposium

U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) scientists participated in the American Chemical Society (ACS), Division of Environmental Chemistry’s Integral Virtual Symposium on "Environmental Chemistry of Pharmaceuticals and Personal Care Products (PPCPs)" The Symposium, which was cosponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, was held at the ACS’s 228th National Meeting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, August 22-26, 2004. The virtual symposium consisted of live and pre-recorded presentations that were simulcast over the Internet at several remote sites across the country. The U.S. Geological Survey hosted one of the remote sites in Denver, Colorado. The entire webcast is available for viewing on a web site maintained by the Tennessee Technological University.
