USGS Scientist Gives Keynote Talk at the "1st International Workshop on Groundwater Risk Assessment at Contaminated Sites"

GRACOS logoU.S. Geological Survey (USGS) scientist Author L. Baehr gave a keynote talk on "Processes Governing the Transport of Volatile Organic Compounds in the Unsaturated Zone" at the "1st International Workshop on Groundwater Risk Assessment at Contaminated Sites" (GRACOS), at The University of Tübingen, Germany, on February 21-22, 2002. Dr. Baehr presented his work at the USGS Toxic Substances Hydrology Program's Galloway Township Research Site, New Jersey, on the role of gas transport and unsaturated zone processes in natural attenuation of gasoline at contaminated sites. GRACOS (Groundwater Risk Assessment at Contaminated Sites) is a project of seven European partners funded by the 5th Framework Programme of the European Commission.
