USGS Scientist Gives Keynote Talk at the 2002 "Forum Québécois en Sciences de la Mer"

U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) scientist James E. Cloern gave a keynote talk on "Our Evolving Conceptual Model of the Coastal Eutrophication Problem" at the 2002 Forum Québécois en Sciences de la Mer, in Québéc, Canada, on April 11-12, 2002. Dr. Cloern has conducted long-term surveys of ecological trends in coastal ecosystems. His review of coastal eutrophication is a valuable source of information for resource managers tasked with managing coastal ecosystems threatened by eutrophication.
