Natural and Anthropogenic Contaminants in Groundwater Resources: Occurrence, Geochemistry, Health, and Remediation

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Duke University, and Sandia National Laboratories co-sponsored a special session on Natural and Anthropogenic Contaminants in Groundwater Resources: Occurrence, Geochemistry, Health, and Remediation at the 2007 Joint Assembly, Acapulco, Mexico, May 22-25, 2007. USGS research on the fate and transport of fungicides in streams in areas where the fungicides are applied to control Asian soybean rust was presented during the session.
