- Diabetes in America: Public Knowledge, Perceptions and Behaviors [8/13/08]

- New Pharmacy Ethics Textbook Available [7/9/08]
A new textbook, Foundations of Ethical Pharmacy, by Dr. Robert A. Buerki and Louis D. Vottero, is now available from the American Institute of the History of Pharmacy. The new text is designed to be used in jurisprudence courses, introduction to pharmacy courses that have an ethical component and clinical rotations. A complimentary copy of the new text will be sent to all deans for distribution to interested faculty. To order the new text, go to www.aihp.org. Faculty who adopt the new text will receive a complimentary copy of Ethical Responsibility in Pharmacy Practice, the authors' parent text. The new text will also be featured at the Institute's booth at the 2008 Annual Meeting.
- Interprofessional Professionalism Behaviors [7/9/08]
An ongoing initiative developed by the Consultant Group on Interprofessional Professionalism Measurement representing the following professional organizations: American Association of Colleges of Nursing, American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine, American Association of College of Pharmacy, American Dental Education Association, American Psychological Association, American Physical Therapy Association, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and the National Board of Medical Examiners is conducting a survey that AACP members are invited to participate in.
