Papers: Discussion, White
As part of CSREES’ long and short-term planning efforts and to establish current and future budget priorities, national program leaders, program directors, and managers develop white papers and discussion papers. They address issues important to CSREES, USDA, and the Land-Grant University System in agriculture, the environment, human health and well-being, and communities. They are intended to be forward-thinking, innovative, and trend-setting; broadly advance knowledge; and promote interagency collaboration.
White papers examine critical issues that CSREES is currently prioritizing in its budget and programming. Discussion papers introduce issues that may warrant future agency budget and programmatic attention and are designed to facilitate related dialogue among the agency and its land grant partners.
