Give Now 2-1-1 Do something about it

After the Storm

It has been some time since our city experienced its own disaster. Like so many in the storm's path, United Way has limited power with our emergency generator, but we want to assure you that 2-1-1 Texas/United Way HELPLINE is up and running answering calls 24/7 as usual.

Visit the United Way of Greater Houston Web site often, as we will continuously update it with the most current information on available resources for those desperately needing vital information.

Our short term priority is to support our first responders – American Red Cross, Salvation Army and others with whatever resources we can put at their disposal. We have convened our United Way affiliate agencies to assess their circumstances and determine how best to support their response efforts. This is an ongoing process and will continue as long as necessary.

We will focus quickly on leading the long-term recovery that must take place in the months ahead. It is our intent to put the United Way systems, services and resources in place to aid the most vulnerable victims of the storm. Thank you for your continued support of the United Way of Greater Houston.
