Changes to State and local area labor force estimation in 2005

The LAUS Redesign has been a multi-year, multi-project initiative to improve labor force estimates for State and substate areas developed by the Local Area Unemployment Statistics (LAUS) program. Funding for the LAUS Redesign research and implementation activities was initially provided to the Bureau of Labor Statistics in 2001.
