Subject content: These county-based maps show outlines of Voting Districts and/or State Legislative Districts (VTD/SLD). Each map set consists of: 1) an index map sheet showing parent and inset map sheet coverage within a given county; 2) one or more parent sheets; 3 ) and inset sheet or sheets, as needed, for densely settled areas. The maps include a list of the names and codes of the voting districts so that the codes on the maps can be related to the district names. Map scales vary to minimize the number of sheets. Maps in PDF format will be available on the Internet and DVD.
Boundaries shown: Political entities (incorporated places, counties, functioning minor civil divisions, American Indian/Alaska Native Areas); also, voting districts (42 states and the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico) and state legislative districts (40 states) for states that participated in the 2000 Census Redistricting Data Program.
