Second Judicial District Court - Electronic Storage of Closed Case Files
A total of 2,154 1995 Civil Files have been scanned to date, excluding sealed and sequestered cases. These cases will no longer be available in paper format and must be accessed in the electronic format at the Clerk's Office.
Training on the use of OpenText’s Document Management product will commence on the week of September 22, 2008 for the Civil Judges. The Judges will learn how to retrieve and utilize the electronic version of the Court file.
An Electronic Copy Request application has also been developed for the public’s use when requesting Court files, incorporating an “ease of use” methodology.
