Registration for this day and a half workshop is $75.

Highlights

Join APTA at its bi-annual ITS International Best Practices Workshop: Transit Applications in San Francisco, California, December 9-10, 2008. The workshop’s theme is ITS Transit Applications. Panel session topics will include fleet management/automated vehicle location, vehicle assist and automation, transit signal priority, traveler information systems, and electronic fare collection.

Speakers will include representatives from Chicago PACE, California PATH, Los Angeles DOT, FTA and U.S. DOT, and private organizations that are using or developing ITS Transit Applications. International speakers from Europe and Asia will discuss similar developments from around the world on each panel.

Who Should Attend

Officials from state DOTs, transit agencies, municipal agencies, metropolitan planning organizations, and private vendors are encouraged to attend.
