Description

Men's Health Network (MHN) is a non-profit educational organization comprised of physicians, researchers, public health workers, other health professionals, and , individuals. MHN is committed to improving the health and wellness of men through education campaigns, partnerships with retailers and other private entities, workplace health programs, data collection, and work with health care providers to provide better programs and funding for men's health needs. With a network of chapters, affiliates, and members, MHN has a presence in every state. MHN's goals include focusing media attention on problems which plague men and, by extension, their families and sensitizing the public to the health care problems of men and the unfortunate effects those problems have on their loved ones, their employers, and the health care infrastructure. MHN also produces a series of national conferences and state symposia on men's health. MHN presents these events as an effort to educate health professionals and the public-at-large about significant men's health issues. The state symposia create opportunities for networking among health professionals, advocacy groups, and the general public.
