OPM To Unveil New Strategic and Operational Plan Addendum

Plan contains more than 100 new goals for 2008

 

Washington, D.C. – On Friday, February 29th, U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Director Linda M. Springer will unveil the 2008 Addendum to the Strategic and Operational Plan. The Addendum will contain more than 100 new operational goals the agency expects to meet in calendar year 2008. Included in the Addendum are goals designed to ease civil service recruitment and hiring practices, make security background checks more timely and efficient, and improve inter-agency cooperation by strengthening Federal Executive Board’s across the country. Media are invited and encouraged to attend.
