The event sponsored by the National Academy of Public Administration and Public Administrations Forum is part of the Directions 1998: HR and Line Management Working Together conference. The conference is designed to explore cutting-edge issues in federal Human Resources Management.
Director Lachance will discuss the framework for the federal civil service for the 21st century. In her remarks, she will present initiatives which will further loosen the constraints on HR managers to effectively meet agency needs and obtain results for the American people.
Ms. Lachance will be available for interviews before and after the luncheon discussion.
