  • DHALIWAL presents a manifest and invoice for a commercial shipment of airline trays destined for Allentown, PA
  • During primary processing CBP Officers determine that a more thorough examination is needed …
 
  • Further inspection on the truck utilizes cutting edge gamma-ray technology to maximize efficiency
  • The high-resolution image of the conveyance’s contents reveals an anomaly that identifies an inconsistency with the manifested freight
  • A physical inspection of the shipment results in the discovery of 17 unmanifested boxes commingled within the legitimate freight
Result    
  • The boxes contain 400 vacuum-sealed bags of hydroponic marijuana with a total weight of 625 lbs
  • CBP alerts ICE and the U.S Attorney’s Office
  • DHALIWAL is arrested by CBP on federal charges of importation and possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance
