A Mexican gang has members who impersonate Mexican federal judicial agents, kidnap people for multiple ransoms, and often resort to mutilation of the victims in order to receive the ransoms The Border Patrol Sector Liaison Unit works with the Mexican agency Procuraduría General de la Republica (PGR) to identify key leaders of the gang		Border Patrol agents receive a tip that one of the Mexican gang’s leaders is in El Paso, TX Border Patrol informs the Border Patrol Intelligence Center who confirms the validity of the information Border Enforcement Security Task force (BEST) unit made up of BP agents, ICE agents, & El Paso County Sheriff’s officers arrest man without incident
