OPM to Unveil Second Module of E-Learning website
Site aims to support professional development of Federal workforce


WASHINGTON – On January 30, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management will hold a press briefing to unveil the second module of its e-Training website, the Gov Online Learning Center.

The e-Training program is part of the e-Government initiative contained in President George W. Bush’s Management Agenda and coordinated by the Office of Management and Budget. The President’s Management Agenda contains 24 e-Government initiatives, five of which are managed by OPM. The other four programs OPM manages are e-Training, e-Clearance, Recruitment One Stop, and Enterprise Human Resource Integration.

Through the Gov Online Learning Center, the federal workforce will have simplified one-stop access to high quality e-Training products and services, helping agencies accomplish their missions, and helping the federal government create a world class workforce.
