ATLANTA – The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) will hold a public meeting to discuss the progress of two health consultations at the Intel Corporation plant in Rio Rancho.
Two meetings will be held on Wednesday, November 7 from 1:00 PM until 3:30 PM at the Village of Corrales Community Center, located at 4324 Corrales Road in Corrales and from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Loma Colorado Main Library, located at 755 Loma Colorado Drive in Rio Rancho.
At the meetings, ATSDR will present a progress reports on the ongoing ATSDR health consultations. In addition, ATSDR scientists and staff will present information on industrial odors and environmental health. No results of the health consultations will be available during these public meetings.
In 2004, ATSDR received a petition to investigate air quality related issues of the communities near the Intel Corporation plant site.

ATSDR, a federal public health agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, evaluates the human health effects of exposure to hazardous substances.
