Airport Security is a section of BTS' bimonthly Omnibus Household Survey that seeks to identify the general public's behavior patterns and attitudes regarding airport security since 9/11.

In the following months we will have Omnibus Household Survey information on the following topics:

  • Commuting Time
  • Commuter Delays
  • American Flying Habits
  • Neighborhood Freight Delivery
  • Congestion Awareness

Results are based on a completed bi-monthly sample of 1,000+ households randomly selected using a list-assisted random digit dialing (RDD) methodology. Margins of error for the estimates of average wait times are +/- 2.5 minutes for the ticket counter and +/- 1.5 minutes for the security checkpoint, and +/- 6% for the table percentages.
