Data are compiled from monthly reports filed with the Bureau of Transportation Statistics
by commercial air carriers detailing operations, passenger traffic and freight traffic.
Reports from commuter carriers are included in data beginning October 2002 and were not
included in earlier reports. December traffic data are preliminary and include data received
by BTS as of April 18. Data are subject to revision.
Information on non-filing carriers will be available at www.bts.gov.
Revised December data is posted on the BTS website. BTS will release February
traffic data on May 12.
