Site: Potable Water-Cross-Connection Control Program
Violation: The cross-connection control program did not list the potable water connections protected by air gaps.
Recommendation: Ensure that the listing is for all connections to the potable water system, including those protected by air gaps.

Site: Potable Water-Goofy Pool and Quiet Cove Pool Technical Rooms
Violation: Buckets or funnels were under the reduced pressure backflow prevention device vents. There were no air gaps between the vents and the buckets or funnels.
Recommendation: Ensure that an air gap is provided between the reduced pressure backflow prevention device vents and the buckets and funnels.

Site: Buffet-
Violation: There was a brass plumbing connection installed on the carbonation unit. Per the staff, this was a backflow prevention device. It was not clear that this connection was a backflow prevention device. All of the other carbonation units on the vessel had an obvious backflow prevention device that was not made of brass.
Recommendation: Install a vented continuous pressure-type backflow prevention device for this connection. Ensure that the device is not made of brass.

Site: Whirlpool/Spa-Anti-entrapment Drain Covers
Violation: There was no documentation that the covers on the drains and suction fittings were anti-entrapment.
Recommendation: Ensure that anti-entrapment drain covers or other drains that prevent entrapment hazards as specified in U.S. Consumer Product Safety Publication 363-009801 (dual drains/channel drains) are provided on swimming pools and whirlpool spas. Ensure that drain covers have either the plumbing/engineering approving organization stamp and flow rate affixed to the cover, or that a letter is maintained aboard the vessel certifying that the cover meets the safety requirements outlined in AMSE/ANSI A112.19.8M or an equivalent standard.

Site: Provisions-Fish Freezer
Violation: There was a partially used bag of clams with the tag removed.
Recommendation: Ensure that shellstock shellfish tags: (1) Remain attached to the container in which the shellstock are received until the container is empty. (2) Are maintained by retaining shellstock tags or labels for 90 calendar days from the date the container is emptied by using an approved record keeping system that keeps the tags or labels in chronologic order correlated to the date when the shellstock are served.

Violation: There was a waste line above boxes of cereal that were stored in corridor. This waste line was not continuously sleeve welded.
Recommendation: Ensure that food is not stored: (1) In locker rooms; (2) In toilet rooms; (3) In dressing rooms; (4) In garbage rooms; (5) In mechanical rooms; (6) Under sewer lines that are not continuously sleeve welded; (7) Under leaking water lines, including leaking automatic fire sprinkler heads, or under lines on which water has condensed; (8) Under open stairwells; or (9) Under other sources of contamination from nonfood items such as ice blocks, ice carvings and flowers.

Violation: There were slotted fasteners in the ice/water contact area of the ice machine.
Recommendation: Ensure that materials used in the construction of multiuse utensils and food-contact surfaces of equipment are: (1) Durable, corrosion-resistant, and nonabsorbent; (2) Sufficient in weight and thickness to withstand repeated warewashing; (3) Finished to have a smooth, easily cleanable surface; and (4) Resistant to pitting, chipping, crazing, scratching, scoring, distortion, and decomposition.

Violation: The technical space of refrigeration unit espresso 881 was rough and difficult to clean.
Recommendation: Ensure that nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment that are exposed to splash, spillage, or other food soiling or that require frequent cleaning are constructed of a corrosion-resistant, nonabsorbent, and smooth material.

Violation: There was a gap along the front of the technical spaces that exposed a void space that was difficult to access for cleaning.

Violation: The deck finish was damaged throughout the food areas. In some areas, the deck finish was severely pitted, rough and otherwise damaged. This was especially true in the bakery, bell box pantry, parrot cay hot galley, luminere's galley, topsider's galley and kid's galley (soup station). The decks were slippery in some of these areas.
Recommendation: Ensure that decks, bulkheads, and deckheads in food preparation, warewashing, pantries, and storage areas are constructed and maintained for easy cleaning.
