The Borger NWR transmitter broadcasts a tone-alert and
activates EAS on NOAA Weather Radio Receivers. This is the region
of generally good reception from the NWS NOAA Weather Radio transmitter.
However, transmission is line of sight and low-lying areas may encounter
poor reception. |

Texas and Oklahoma counties which the NWS broadcasts an EAS alert
to activate NOAA Weather Radio receivers. Warnings and statements issued
for these counties will not be broadcast on this transmitter. These
counties are covered by other transmitters in the area. |
