International Public Health Assessment & Policy
|
Individuals working in the international
pathway represent FSIS when engaged in international food standards
activities. These public health professionals are involved in developing
policies and negotiating agreements in response to emerging issues
affecting international food safety and trade. Individuals working
in this area are responsible for making authoritative recommendations
to promote a unified Agency approach that constitutes the U.S. government
policy in the international trade of meat, poultry, and egg products.
