Theresa M. Glasscock

Director, Office of Inspection

Theresa M. Glasscock serves as the Director of the Office of Inspection for the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau. In this capacity, Ms. Glasscock oversees all activity related to the Liaison with the Office of the Inspector Generals, the Government Accounting Office, in addition to TTB’s own Internal Office Reviews and Program Reviews, and Co-Chair of the TTB/NTEU Partnership Council. 

Ms. Glasscock is a twenty-three-year career employee with the Federal Government and has a variety of inspector, supervisory, and administrative experiences. Early in her career, she worked in the administrative support area with the Department of Defense. In 1985, she joined the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) and became an inspector in the Baltimore Area Office in 1988. Three years later she transferred to the Pittsburgh Area Office. In 1994, Ms. Glasscock became a supervisory inspector in the St. Louis Area Office. In 1996, she joined the Field Management Staff, progressing up to Chief of Policy Development and Evaluation and then to Chief of Staff. In 2001, she transferred to the Baltimore Field Division as Director of Industry Operations in which she was responsible for overseeing regulatory enforcement for the Federal government in the states of Maryland and Delaware. In 2002, she transferred back to ATF’s Headquarters as Chief of Domestic and International Trade Division in the Office of Alcohol and Tobacco. Upon the creation of TTB, the Bureau appointed her as Chief of Staff which she held until August of 2007 at which time she was appointed as the Director of the Office of Inspection.
