U.S. And Mexican IBWC Commissioners Perish In Plane Crash

AWRA is saddened to hear of the tragic deaths of Carlos Marin and Arturo Herrera of the International Boundary Water Commission in a plane crash earlier this week.  AWRA has worked with these fine gentleman and is dismayed about the loss. Mr. Marin’s and Mr. Herrera’s input regarding transboundary water issues was visionary, and they will be missed. AWRA sends its deepest condolences to the International Boundary Water Commission.

National Capital Region Reestablished

The AWRA National Capital Region section held their 2008 kick-off event at the National Academy of Public Administration, on Wednesday, September 10 ...This event is the first of many planned to continue the tradition of the National Capital Section ...
