The International course certifies the completion of the full scope of returns presented for taxpayers (non-military) living outside the United States and served by volunteers at US Embassies and Consulates or other areas under the VITA/TCE. Military persons going overseas for VITA/TCE must take two International lessons: Foreign Income Exclusion and Foreign Tax Credit. In addition, they need to be certified in both the Military and International tests. You may "test out" of the International Course by achieving a passing score on the Test.
