Labor-management bargaining in 1992

The economic and institutional interests of labor and management often clashed, as companies attempted to stay viable by cutting labor costs, and unions sought to protect members by opposing such actions. This article recaps changes in wages and working conditions brought about through collective bargaining negotiations during 1992.
