How can I find information about employment for people with disabilities?

Answer

There are vocational organizations in all states that can assist persons with disabilities. The Job Accommodation Network, a free service of the Office of Disability Employment Policy, U.S. Department of Labor, can assist you in locating reasonable accommodation strategies.

You can also go to the Department of Labor's Online Career Resources Web page and the disabilityinfo.gov Web site: http://www.disabilityinfo.gov/digov-public/public/DisplayPage.do?parentFolderId=9.

For information on Federal Employment of People with Disabilities, you may want to visit: http://www.opm.gov/disability/.
