	FROM THE OFFICE OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS January 31, 2003 KD-3818 Media Advisory: Department of the Treasury “Blue Book” Technical Tax Briefing Monday, February 3rd, 2:00 p.m. Treasury Assistant Secretary for Tax Policy Pam Olson will hold the “Blue Book” technical background briefing on the President’s tax proposals on Monday, February 3, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. in room 4121 (the new media room). This session will provide a synopsis of the tax proposals and will also allow for a Question and Answer session with Tax Policy staff. No cameras will be admitted-- this is a “pen and pad” only briefing. The “Blue Book” will be posted on the Internet Monday, February 3rd at 8:00 a.m. at http://www.treas.gov/offices/tax-policy/library/bluebk03.pdf.
