Treasury Secretary John Snow Travels to Indiana and Louisiana
to Promote President Bush’s Economic Agenda

Treasury Secretary John Snow will travel to Indiana and Louisiana on Monday and Tuesday, April 14-15, to discuss President George W. Bush’s efforts to strengthen the economy and to promote the President’s Jobs and Growth plan. 

The Secretary will travel to Indianapolis, New Orleans, and Shreveport to meet with local chamber of commerce officials, economists, small business owners, individual investors, and taxpayers to highlight the importance of swiftly enacting legislation sought by President Bush which will create jobs and strengthen economic growth. 

Secretary Snow’s top priority is the enactment of President Bush’s Jobs and Growth plan.   During his two month tenure as Treasury Secretary, Secretary Snow has traveled to five states - New York, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Florida - to promote President Bush’s economic agenda.
