Export Requirements for Grenada

Documentation Requirements
  1. Certification Requirements
    1. Obtain FSIS Form 9060-5
  2. Special Statements
    1. The following statements must be placed in the "Remarks" section of FSIS Form 9060-5:

      "The United States is free from exotic notifiable animal diseases such as foot-and-mouth disease, African swine fever, and hog cholera. Vaccination against the above diseases is not permitted in the United States. Exotic Newcastle disease has not been reported in the State from which the poultry and poultry product originated."
    2. The following additional statement must be placed in the "Remarks" section of FSIS Form 9060-5 for beef and beef products:

      "The beef and beef meat products were derived from animals that were slaughtered in the United States, or were legally imported into the United States."
  3. All documentation must be signed by an FSIS veterinarian.

    Note: Special Permit/License - The importer must obtain an import permit issued by veterinary authorities of the Grenada Ministry of Agriculture for entry of all meat and poultry product.

Plants Eligible to Export

All Federally inspected meat and poultry establishments are eligible to export to Grenada.
