General Questions :
A collection of digitized images, photos, movies, videos, etc.
This collection documents NACA and NASA research performed at Langley Research Center.
Currently two kinds of multimedia assets are available:- Images/Photos
- Movies/Videos/Animations
All images/photos are in JPEG format with up to four possible resolutions:
- Thumbnail (~96x96)
- Small (~544x480)
- Medium (~1280x1024) (if available)
- Large (~3072x2432) (if available)
The medium and large resolution images are usually available except
in cases where the original digitized image did not have sufficient
resolution (e.g. image created on a low-end digital camera).
The movies/videos are in Apple's QuickTime® format.
The resoltuions range from 120x90 up to 320x240 with frame rates up to 15fps.
To find out which resolutions/sizes are available,
click on the More Information link when viewing the thumbnail representations.
The multimedia asset that you are looking for may be available from some other NASA Center try NIX (NASA Image eXchange) to search all of the other NASA Centers
