Bradbury Science Museum has new operating hoursContact: Steve Sandoval, steves@lanl.gov, (505) 665-9206 (04-086) LOS ALAMOS, N.M., Oct. 27, 2004 -- Los Alamos National Laboratory's Bradbury Science Museum is moving to new operating hours on Monday, Nov. 1. The museum, located at 15th Street and Central Avenue in downtown Los Alamos, will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. It will be closed on Sunday and Monday, and on federal holidays. During the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, call the museum at (505) 667-4444 or go to the museum's Web page at http://bsm.lanl.gov online for information about special holiday hours or activities. The Bradbury Science Museum is part of Los Alamos' Public Affairs Office in the Communications and External Relations Division. Los Alamos National Laboratory is operated by the University of California for the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) of the U.S. Department of Energy and works in partnership with NNSA's Sandia and Lawrence Livermore national laboratories to support NNSA in its mission. Los Alamos enhances global security by ensuring the safety and reliability of the U.S. nuclear deterrent, developing technologies to reduce threats from weapons of mass destruction, and solving problems related to defense, energy, environment, infrastructure, health and national security concerns.
