The National Weather Service (NWS) remains committed to providing our constituents with warnings and forecasts of the highest quality. To do so, we believe it is important for our customers and partners to know the opportunities and challenges ahead for the NWS, for us to seek input in discovering common opportunities, and identify ways to make our operations and services more efficient and effective. Issues identified and discussed with our constituents will help us determine how to best use our resources for meeting future priorities.

  • Bring customers/constituents up to date on NWS program activities and the President's FY09 NWS Budget Request.
  • Improve visibility of the FY09 NWS Budget Request and its importance to each WFO/RFC, field office and gain customer/constituent support.
