Course Description:
This 5-day course is designed for Water Resources Division personnel actively involved in a watershed modeling project. The course will improve skills in the calibration of watershed models DR3M, HSPF, and PRMS. The latest updates to ANNIE and each of the above models will be presented. Participants will give a presentation on their drainage basin. Results of initial calibration using the model they selected also will be presented. Following discussions and recommendations from the class and instructors, each participant will make additional calibration runs on their drainage basin. The results from each participant's calibration run will be presented to the class for further comments and recommendations. This iteration process will continue for the remainder of the week.
Course Title:
Watershed Systems Modeling II
Attendees:
Those interested in projects that use one of the three watershed models. Each participant must have: 1. Attended WATERSHED SYSTEMS MODELING I (G0083) or have applied one of the three models in a project; 2. A PRIME WDM file of time-series data for their watershed; 3. All input for the model and watershed selected by the attendee, and simulation for the calibration period; and 4. Developed graphics of the model output for presentation to the class.
