Mission statement:
The Rape and Sexual Abuse Center (RSAC) was established by the Neighborhood Involvement Program in 1972 as one of the first rape centers in the country. Our primary purpose remains the same today: providing affordable, accessible, qualified assistance to victims of sexual assault and abuse. In addition, RSAC is a firm believer that education and understanding are critical to preventing and breaking the cycle of trauma. This is why we continue to strongly support education programs in our community and schools.
