- How to Renew or Replace DOC Building Passes
- Updated 11/18/03
To acquire a replacement building pass or renew an expired building
pass, the following procedure must be followed:
Lost Building Pass
- All personnel working for ITA must immediately report their lost pass to
the OSY Security Staff, preferably via E-mail.
- Send an e-mail to "OSTOP@doc.gov" (or use the GroupWise address
book search list to find "STOP,ONE"). Send a cc: to cfisher@doc.gov. The e-mail must include
your full name, social security number, and office, e.g., OSY/MAC/AP. Also,
specify if you are required to work after hours and/or weekends.
- A temporary building pass can then be picked up the following day, after
8:00 A.M. in room 1066.
- At the end of the 30 day waiting period, take the temporary building pass
back to room 1066. A new building pass will be issued.
Expired/Damaged Building Pass
- Take the expired/damaged building pass to room 1066 and a new pass will be
issued.
- Expiration date for employees is 5 years from date of issue; contractor
passes are good for one year from date of issue.
- Contractors must have their Contracting Officer Technical Representative
(COTR) e-mail the security staff to request a new/renewal building pass.
Operating Hours

between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.
