Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) If you have a number of new employees in your office, or perhaps your current staff needs a refresher course, FOIA training is available. The training is conducted by an attorney from OGC, and ITA's FOIA officer attends each session to provide answers about the FOIA process in ITA. The training sessions usually last for two hours. If you are interested in providing this training to your staff, please contact Linda Bell at (202)482-3032 or e-mail her at Linda_Bell@ita.doc.gov.Use of ITA Emblem/Department
Seal ITA
offices preparing a request for permission to use the ITA emblem or the
Department Seal are reminded that all requests are to be sent first to the
Office of Organization and Management Support (OOMS). After review and clearance by
OOMS, the request will be forwarded to the Assistant General Counsel for
Administration (AGC) and the Office of Chief Counsel for Technology
(OCC/T) for clearance.
Permission to use the ITA emblem requires clearance by the AGC and
OCC/T. Permission to use the
Department Seal requires clearance by both the AGC and OCC/T and the
Department's Office of Publications, Graphics Division. For more specific information and
assistance, contact Jacqueline Harris at (202)482-4011 or via e-mail at Jacqueline_Harris@ita.doc.gov. Did you know that you can view your Official Personnel File (OPF)? With proper identification, you can request to see your OPF in the Office of Human Resources Management (OHRM) located in room 7417. You may want to call OHRM in advance to make sure that we can accommodate you. For additional information, please call the Office of Human Resources Management at (202)482-3301. President's Management Agenda
(PMA) As part of the requirements of the President's Management Agenda (PMA), OMB has asked the Department to report performance information quarterly. Additionally, the Department will be performing quality control checks to ensure the data validity, the measure accuracy, and the quality of the data. End of year attestation statements will be required from each bureau head beginning in FY 2004. With this in mind, we ask that each ITA Measure Owner retain pertinent records should the Office of the Secretary/Budget Office or the Office of the Inspector General need to review our processes. Additionally, the dates for reporting actual performance data for FY 2004 have been moved up and ITA is expected to have actual performance results by October 22, 2004. If you have questions, please feel free to contact Halina Malinowski at (202)482-4083. |
