Purpose:
|
This
workshop has two objectives. The first day will be devoted to the
development of an XML version of the ANSI/NIST-ITL 1-2007, which
will become ANSI/NIST-ITL 2-200X. This will include a review of
how this standard can work in cooperation with another XML standard
known as the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM). The second
day will be used to initiate development of a roadmap for mobile
identification devices and systems. Mobile identification devices
and systems used for acquiring biometric samples from individuals
are becoming more common place, and this workshop will be used to
discuss how to move forward to improve interoperability, biometric
quality, and accuracy. |
