Now Open for General Registration

2008 Research Conference on the
National Survey of Family Growth

General registration is now open for the 2008 Research Conference on the National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG), hosted by the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) on Thursday and Friday, October 16 and 17, 2008. The Conference will take place at NCHS located in Hyattsville, Maryland, just outside Washington, DC.

The purpose of this Research Conference is to present and discuss original, unpublished analyses of the National Survey of Family Growth, with focus on the most recent data from Cycle 6 (2002).

Below is a general outline of the conference:

Thursday, October 16 (8:45-5:00)

• Session 1: Contraception and Fertility

• Session 2: Teens and Family Planning/Reproductive
   Health Services

• Session 3:  Men and Fatherhood

Friday, October 17 (9:00-4:00)

• Session 4: Cohabitation and Nonmarital Fertility

• Session 5: Marriage and Cohabitation

General registration is free and will run through
Friday, October 3
