IRIS – Incident Resource Inventory System (NIMS-IRIS)
To strengthen resource management in line with the National Incident Management System (NIMS), the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Incident Management Systems Division has released the NIMS Incident Resource Inventory System (NIMS-IRIS) tool to the emergency response community. NIMS IRIS provides emergency responders with a database management tool to enter a community’s 120 typed resources into a common database and the capability to share and aggregate data between jurisdictions.
