TSC Operations and Maintenance

In the Western U.S., we depend on a water storage and delivery infrastructure constructed over the last 150 years. These aging structures work hard to provide water for agriculture, municipal use, industrial needs, power generation, and recreation. The increasing demands placed on the finite supply of water in the west makes improving water management and water-use efficiency even more important. The key to improved water management is an accurate measurement and control of water in our collection, distribution, and drainage systems.

Operating and maintaining Reclamation's projects will continue to ensure deliveries of water and power consistent with environmental and other requirements, and to honor state water rights, interstate compacts, and contracts with Reclamation's users.
