- New Global Ensemble Forecast System (GEFS) enhancements
- The probability of ice pellets graphics are added
- The probability of Cape > 250, 500, 2000, and 4000 are added
- The 6-hour and 24-hour precipitation totals are added
- The probability of 6-hour precipitation > 0.25., >0.50., and >1.0. are added.
- New RUC enhancements
- New hourly graphics from F000 to F012 for the 3-hourly synoptic model runs are added
- New hourly graphics from F000 to F009 for the non-synoptic hourly model runs are added.
- The single parameter 4-Panel Charts for the RUC model have been discontinued due to the availability to loop through the individual hours.
Note: The NGM model is expected to be removed from production in March of 2009, at which time the graphics will be discontinued.

- New 3-hour precipitation graphics for the NAM and GFS models are added.
- A new geographical area for the Wave Watch III that shows both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans on a single image is added.
- New 250 mb Temperature mean and spread graphics from the Global Ensemble Forecast System (GEFS) are added.
- New wind speed mean and mean direction graphics from the GEFS for 250, 500, 700, 850 and 925 mb levels are added.

Information About The Images

Three image resolutions are currently available:
-
coarse (640x480
image size, approximately 37 kilobytes per image),
-
medium (1024x768
image size, approximately 70 kilobytes per image),
-
fine (1280x1024
image size, approximately 100 kilobytes per image)

Four panel charts only display coarse resolution images.

The date given below for each model run cycle refers to its most recent run date.
