healthfinder.gov is a free guide to reliable
health information, developed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The site
provides an easy-to-use topic index of carefully reviewed health information from over 1,500
government agencies, nonprofit and professional organizations, and universities. Our
Google-powered search uses innovative search technology to increase the number of Web pages
we can index, while restricting search results to health information most relevant for
consumers. You won't find any 'mystery' Web sites here!

At the top of each page

Just enter what you want to search for and select the "Google" button to
start your search.
- A handy navigation menu linking you to our 4 main areas, plus our Espanol and
Kids special sections, About Us, and Contact Us pages.
At the bottom of each page
Finding Your Way Through the Site
As you move through the site, the
title line on each page will show you where you are and where you've come
from--for example, on this page the title line is

to go back to the home page.
When you are searching, you might see
