| Pennsylvania’s seasonally adjusted civilian labor force –– the number of people working or looking for work –– rose to 6,402,000 in August, an increase of 38,000 from July. Resident employment rose by 6,000 from July, while unemployment was up 31,000 residents. The labor force was up 119,000 since August 2007, with employment and unemployment up over the year. More... |
