6.8 At least four people killed, 15 injured in the Culasi area. Considerable damage in other parts of Panay. Felt (VI RF) at Iloilo; (V RF) at Bacolod, Negros and on Cebu; (III RF) on Camiguin; (II RF) at Sorsogon and (I RF) at Manila, Luzon.

1990 Kazakh-Xinjiang Border Region

Epicenter
6.8 One person killed, 3,000 houses destroyed and 20,000 people left homeless in the Ust-Kamenogorsk-Zaysan area, USSR. Damage in Jeminay and Habahe Counties. China. Felt (V) at Novosibirsk, Semipalatinsk and Ust-Kamenogorsk and (III) at Andizhan and Frunze, USSR. Also felt at Urumqi, China.
