Patrick, and U.S. Attorney Thomas Schneider will hold a news conference today to announce a settlement in the first case against an insurance company under the Fair Housing Act alleging racial discrimination. Reno, Patrick, Schneider and others involved in the case will outline the nature of the complaint and settlement against a Wisconsin insurance company that allegedly violated federal civil rights law by discriminating on the basis of race.
