First Crew of Simulated Mars Base Settles In
The Flashline Mars Arctic Research Station (FMARS is now open for business. The first crew of six men and women have begun their ten-day stay aboard the test facility. They are attempting to simulate a real Mars mission in order to determine the unseen difficulties that real Martian explorers will face in the future. FMARS is the first station in the Mars Analog Research Station project, which also plans a simulated Mars base in the desert.
